Villa Nicola is one of a handful of villas that belong to friends of ours and for which we manage the bookings and client services.Villa Nicola was bought in summer 2007 by Richard and Noirin who have renovated it with great care and attention to detail.

| Villa Nicola is located in Lendinuso, south of Brindisi and east of Lecce, right on the Adriatic coast. Lendinuso is a small Italian holiday village full of Italian summer homes. Very quiet out of the season, Lendinsuo comes alive in summer when the Italians flock to the coast. Don't expect Ibitha or the South of France. This is Puglia, your chance to experience Italian life as the Italians live it.If you crave the heat of the southern sun and the warmth of the southern italians this is the place for you. |

From a quiet cul-de-sac in Lendinuso, enter through the gates of Villa Nicola into a large tiled courtyard, complete with lemon, plum and apricot trees. Help yourself to sun-ripened fruit, even the lemons can be eaten (trying peeling the rind off, cutting into segments and sprinkling with salt), you'll be surprised how different they taste to those you purchase from the supermarket back home.
Here's a quiet place where you can relax in the sun, reading all those books you never have time to back at home. And just in case you find you have finished all the books you brought with you, you'll find a selection of english books in the villa. We have plenty more in our library that you can borrow if you don't find anything to suit you.

| Before you enter the villa you will surely be tempted to explore the outside. Through the archway, under the stairs that lead to the roof terrace (save that for later, first you are exploring your new home for the week, fortnight or more), and you will find yourself gazing into the blue swimming pool. All yours for the duration of your holiday. With sun loungers, barbecue, outside shower, changing rooms and toilets, you're probably already thinking you won't stir to far from here. And the gazebo to, providing a shady place for alfresco dining ...... all you need now is the wonderful salento cuisine and the glorious wine and a perfect evening is in the making.

Enter the cool living room and kitchen through the patio doors under the gazebo. If you've just arrived you will find your Welcome Basket waiting for you. As well as the usual basics you will find home made goodies such as lemonade, limoncello, lemon marmalade, tomato chutney ....... And the kitchen offers more than your typical holiday rental. With ample storage space, dishwasher and microwave as well of course as the hob, oven and fridge-freezer, if your fancy turns to creating your own Italian feast, everything is at hand. And for a low maintenance meal you will find in the freezer, freshly cooked frozen meals provided by the Puglia Chef, our own local Italian chef.

| Now you're into holiday mode, after a "hard" day by the pool or on the beach or visiting the Salento region, it's time to chill out some more. Maybe you have had dinner out at one of the many trattoria and pizzerias, or enjoyed dinner at home, under the stars in the courtyard, or in the gazebo area ..... Now, perhaps you feel like a quiet evening or you have small children asleep. In the comfortable living area you will find a tv of course, but also a dvd player and a selection of english language dvds. And if you can't find one you like from the selection we have provided, check the dvd list, we have over 400 dvds available for you to borrow.
